"Hahaha! You've got some nerve, trying to rob the Rainbow Gang!"

The man with the purple mohawk laughed in fury at Baicang's words and waved a hand. "Get him!"

At his command, the surrounding lackeys pulled baseball bats and fruit knives from their motorcycles and charged at Baicang.

How could these punks, who weren't even monsters, possibly stand a chance against Baicang? He dropped them with one punch apiece.

In barely a dozen seconds, Baicang had knocked every last one of the small fry to the ground.

Walking up to the purple-mohawked man, who was now drenched in sweat, Baicang slowly said, "This is a robbery."

"Please, sir! Spare me!"

The man with the purple mohawk dropped straight to his knees and begged for mercy.

Watching Baicang pocket the money he had worked so hard to steal for motorcycle modifications, the purple-mohawked man bit his lip in misery.

Noticing the revolting expression on the kneeling man's face, Baicang kicked him.

"How come you've only got this much? What kind of gangster are you?"

Seeing Baicang rob them and then insult them, the purple-mohawked man desperately wanted to fight back. Unfortunately, he was no match for him.

He could only explain pitifully, "We have to hand most of the money we collect over to Lord Onibi Maru."

"Onibi Maru?"

"Yes. He's the biggest crime boss in this area. Every gang has to pay him," the purple-mohawked man explained.

So even gangsters have to pay protection money? Damn! He even bullies his own people. He's no good. His money needs to be confiscated.

Oh, right! That gave Baicang a great idea.

He handed the money in his pocket back to the purple-mohawked man, then asked softly, "What's your name?"

Confused by Baicang's sudden change in tone, the man hesitated before answering, "Sir, my name is Kenta."

"Oh, Taken, huh?"

"It's Kenta, sir..."

"Hm?"

"You're right, sir! My name is Taken!" Under Baicang's intimidation, Kenta had no choice but to admit that his parents had gotten his name wrong.

Seeing how obedient Kenta was, Baicang gently helped him up from the ground, draped an arm over his shoulders, and said softly, "There are a few things I'd like to discuss with you."

"Just give the word, sir." Kenta wore a fawning smile.

"Here's the thing. I want you to gather information on all the gangs nearby, preferably scumbags who are in bed with rich people, along with any major news from the underworld."

"Uh... well..." Kenta looked troubled.

What did Baicang want that information for? After what had happened tonight, Kenta knew that if he told Baicang about the other gangs and anyone found out, he would be dead down the line. But if he refused, he would be dead right now.

As he agonized over his choice, he felt Baicang's hand on his shoulder creeping closer to his neck. A chill ran down his back, and he immediately agreed.

"Leave it to me, sir. When do you need it?" Kenta asked in a trembling voice.

"Haha, no rush. Open your mouth."

"Huh?" Baicang tossed something straight into Kenta's mouth.

"Cough, cough, cough!" Kenta clutched his throat and coughed nonstop.

"That's my special homemade pill. Once you take it, your stomach will keep hurting, then you'll get terrible diarrhea until you finally shit your intestines out."

"Ah!" Kenta was so terrified that he collapsed to the ground.

Ding...

"Gurgle, gurgle." The sudden stirring in his stomach scared Kenta out of his wits. He clung to Baicang's leg and wailed, "Sir, I'll do whatever you say! Please spare me! Please!"

"Open your mouth." Baicang kicked Kenta away before he could smear snot on his trousers.

"Ah." Kenta hurriedly opened his mouth. With a flick of his hand, Baicang tossed something else inside.

"You have to take this antidote every two days. Otherwise, the poison will kick in, and no one will be able to save you," Baicang said coldly.

"Yes, yes! I'll do exactly as you say, sir!" Kenta scrambled to his feet and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

"Hahaha! I knew I could count on you, Taken." Laughing, Baicang brushed the dust off Kenta's clothes.

Watching Baicang suddenly become all smiles again, Kenta felt nothing but profound terror.

"Then that's settled. Come meet me here at night every two days. I'll give you the antidote then, too."

"Yes, sir." Kenta nodded repeatedly. All he wanted now was to get away from this demon.

"All right. Tell me where that fire-whatever guy is, and you can go."

"Yes, sir. Onibi Maru is at..."

After telling Baicang where Onibi Maru's hideout was, Kenta immediately climbed onto his motorcycle and fled.

"Oh, and don't let me catch you hurting other people again~"

The motorcycle shot straight up to 120 and sped away.

Watching the biker gang leave, Baicang prepared to head to Onibi Maru's location.

Everything he had just done was deliberate.

What he had fed Kenta was nothing more than candy he had picked up along the way. He had brought Kenta under his control simply to gain a deeper understanding of this world's other side.

As for whether he had gone too far, Baicang figured it was only fair to deal with bad guys using their own methods.

An abandoned factory warehouse on the outskirts of town.

Unlike its dilapidated exterior, the entire interior had been converted into an enormous indoor racetrack. A crowd of bikers surrounded the track, cheering wildly.

"Onibi Maru! Onibi Maru!"

A burly man with spiky hair and a studded leather jacket roared around the track on a modified, oversized motorcycle, constantly swinging a meteor hammer in his hand.

A trembling blond man was tied up at the finish line, pleading nonstop, "Please let me go, Lord Onibi Maru! I really am not a traitor!"

But the roar of the oversized motorcycle completely drowned out his voice.

As the crowd's cheers grew more frenzied, Onibi Maru rode closer and closer to the finish line, his expression becoming increasingly deranged.

"Woo-hoooo!"

The moment he reached the finish line, Onibi Maru's meteor hammer struck the man. His head burst like a watermelon, and the scattering flesh and blood drove the spectators even wilder.

"Hahaha! Long live Lord Onibi Maru!"

The crowd's cheers sent the blood-soaked Onibi Maru into a frenzy of excitement. He licked the blood from his face, a strange red light flashing in his eyes as his whole body trembled inexplicably.

It took some time before he returned to normal.

"Still just a little short?"

Onibi Maru lowered his head in slight disappointment, then immediately told his subordinates, "Bring me a few more sacrifices. I need them."

"Lord Onibi Maru, we only had one sacrifice today. There aren't any left," a dark-faced punk answered quietly.

"Then go find some right now! I can feel it! That feeling is almost here!"

By the end, Onibi Maru was practically roaring.

"Yes! We'll go find some right now!" Not daring to approach Onibi Maru, the dark-faced punk rushed toward his motorcycle as though fleeing.

The crowd that had been cheering moments earlier now dared not make a sound. Most followed the thin-faced punk out to find these so-called sacrifices, while the few who remained stood silently to one side, not daring to move.

Clang, clang, clang.

Just then, Baicang, who had followed his phone's navigation to the warehouse, knocked on its wide-open doors.

"Excuse me, is this the ghost-fire kid's hideout? My name is Batman, but you can also call me Evil Buster."

"Now, nobody move! This is a robbery!"
