Background / History

Before becoming a hero, Mizuki trained under a coach who warned her that alcohol was bad for her body. She followed that advice and had never tried alcohol before the gathering at Sachiko’s home 41.

She befriended Tanktop Girl during a mission against a Tiger-level monster, where Mizuki was injured protecting another hero. They quickly became close friends who trained, ate, and went shopping together 40.

Mizuki later began following Baicang after mistaking him for Tanktop Girl’s unfaithful boyfriend. Once he explained that Runo was his younger sister and that he did not know Tanktop Girl, Mizuki apologized. Impressed by his ability to evade her attacks, she accepted his offer to teach her how to handle hero work, despite holding a higher official rank than him 14.

Appearance

Mizuki is taller than Baicang, with a muscular, curvaceous build and visibly defined abdominal muscles. Her usual outfit is tight, abbreviated athletic wear 14 43.

Personality

Mizuki is energetic, trusting, and eager to learn, but frequently acts before thinking. She accepts Baicang’s fabricated explanation for their first encounter and immediately agrees to follow his guidance. Her enthusiasm also leads her to interrupt instructions, sprint off before a running route is chosen, and repeatedly wake him at five in the morning for training 14 15 27.

Her recklessness comes partly from a sincere belief that heroes should brave danger to protect others. She charges into a fight against several monsters because someone is about to be hurt, and she previously sustained injuries while protecting another hero. After recognizing that she cannot help Baicang fight the giant, she resolves to train harder 16 21 40.

She is openly affectionate and emotional. She cries over Sachiko’s hardships, embraces Baicang when she realizes he survived the Sunflower Monster, and promises to treat Runo like her own younger sister. Her kindness can become overwhelming: Tanktop Girl has to intervene when Mizuki hugs Runo too tightly and keeps piling food into her bowl 30 32 40.

Mizuki has a large appetite, attributed to the energy demands of her physical training. She frequently competes with Tanktop Girl over food and takes portions belonging to others 28 29 39 40.
