Li Xia gathered Shikon Shards, gained shikigami and clan resources, and escaped a Smith Family plot by faking his death. He crossed the Bone-Eater’s Well with Kagome and joined Inuyasha’s group, where they faced a Spiderhead attack as Inuyasha lost his demonic power.

• Li Xia learned he would be sent to Water Cedar Junior High in Tokyo, then discovered Kagome and the Shikon Jewel and went to Sunset Shrine.
• Li Xia defeated the Flesh-Bodied Human Face, rescued Kagome’s grandfather, and took seven Shikon Shards, which he used to strengthen his elixirs and talismans.
• Li Xia led the Clan Elders to Mayu and the Demon-Worshipping Child Spirit, helping them capture both and earning spirit-sealing knowledge and rewards.
• Li Xia traded talismans to Javier Smith and Glenn Smith for Soul-Nourishing Wood, then bound the Flesh-Bodied Human Face as the Great Katsura Tree Mask.
• After Li Xia refused to travel to North America, Smith Family escorts took him aboard a private plane, where he fought them and escaped the jet before it crashed.
• Li Xia faked his death, met Kagome’s family, and crossed the Bone-Eater’s Well with Kagome into the Sengoku Era.
• Li Xia gained Inuyasha’s trust, helped Kaede’s Village, and joined the group as they investigated Spiderhead attacks and discovered Ogi’s master was their leader.
• As night weakened Inuyasha, Li Xia used the Great Katsura Tree Mask to channel demonic power into Tessaiga and turn it into a small golden blade.

Li Xia helped uncover the truth behind Kikyo and Inuyasha’s betrayal, then set out to strengthen the group and prepare for Naraku. After Naraku’s assault devastated the Demon Slayer Village, Sango joined the team, and Inuyasha confronted his father’s soul within Tessaiga.

• Li Xia and the others pursued Urasue, who had stolen Kikyo’s remains, and found her trying to revive Kikyo while Kagome was nearby.
• Urasue drew Kikyo’s souls from Kagome into a clay body, and Li Xia rescued Kagome as Kikyo awakened and accused Inuyasha of betraying her.
• Li Xia argued that a demon had manipulated Kikyo and Inuyasha, and Kagome’s souls returned to her after she woke, weakening Kikyo and her attack on Inuyasha.
• Li Xia learned Demon Art from Enju, while Kikyo recovered and left, and Inuyasha later returned, and he and Li Xia set out toward the Demon Slayer Village.
• Li Xia’s group found the Demon Slayer Village’s elite fighters had been lured away, and Naraku’s attack killed the Village Chief, Kohaku, and other demon slayers before Sango joined the team to seek vengeance.
• Li Xia arranged Kagome’s archery training and helped the wounded recover, then went with Inuyasha and Myōga to seek the Medicine Elder Poison Immortal and improve their weapons.
• The Medicine Elder sent Inuyasha into a poisonous wine vat, where he encountered the Dog General’s soul projection and struck his father after remembering his hardships with his mother.
