Mo Yan gathered Digi-Eggs from the Holy Digimon and assigned their crests as part of the plan. Zhuqiaomon ultimately gave him Phoenixmon’s Digi-Egg, completing a lineup Mo Yan recognized from his previous life.

• TyrantKabuterimon recognized WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, then contributed Digi-Eggs for HerculesKabuterimon and Rosemon and chose Knowledge and Innocence for them.
• Ebonwumon gave Mo Yan Vikemon’s unhatched Digi-Egg and assigned it Honesty.
• Ebonwumon urged Zhuqiaomon to accept that Phoenixmon would be reborn as a new life, and Qinglongmon approached as Zhuqiaomon erupted in flames.

• Blazing Angemon arranged the Digi-Eggs prepared for Patamon and Plotmon alongside the other six, and Mo Yan instructed the Digimon to begin creating the Crest Crystals.

After the Four Holy Beasts and TyrantKabuterimon departed, Gennai arrived on Homeostasis’s orders to join the plan involving the eight crest chips and guide the chosen children. Mo Yan accepted that Gennai would be involved, then received a threatening message about Dobermon and sent two DigiCores toward Alice.

• The Four Holy Beasts departed for their respective destinations, and TyrantKabuterimon opened a spatial rift to the Underground Forest.
• Blazing Angemon told Mo Yan to prepare the children and their trials while he searched for a suitable Digital World and connected Human World.
• Gennai appeared after the others left and explained that Homeostasis had sent him to take part in the plan.

Mo Yan watched Knightmon Legendary Mode reach Alice and confront Dobermon, who had tried to attack Wormmon. Lilithmon emerged from Dobermon and challenged Mo Yan to bring his main consciousness.

• Mo Yan used a Light Screen to watch Knightmon Legendary Mode’s DigiCore merge with Grand Mage Beast’s DigiCore and fly toward Alice.
• Dobermon lured Alice away from Zhuqiao Shrine, and she joyfully reunited with him and introduced Wormmon as her partner.
• Dobermon lunged at Wormmon, but Wormmon dodged; Knightmon Legendary Mode struck Dobermon and demanded to know why he had interfered.
• Knightmon Legendary Mode suppressed Dobermon and accused him of disrupting a plan that would benefit him.

Lilithmon’s power corrupted Dobermon into Hellhoundmon, and Alice and Wormmon tried to save him while Knightmon Legendary Mode attacked. Dobermon briefly regained his senses, sacrificed himself to protect Jewelbeemon, and left Wormmon with a final request to protect Alice; Knightmon Legendary Mode then prepared to strike Wormmon.

• Knightmon Legendary Mode and Devimon Triple-Stacked Form argued before turning to pursue Gallantmon, Alice, and Wormmon.
