Following Miss Mirror into the courtyard, Xu Zimo looked around.
The place was not particularly large.
There were two quiet little rooms, and an Eight Trigrams Disk stood in the center of the courtyard.
Five trees had been planted around the courtyard according to the directions of the Five Elements.
They were spread out according to the attributes of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
These trees seemed to have been specially cultivated. Xu Zimo had never seen them before.
The moment he stepped into the courtyard, he frowned slightly.
It was because several lines seemed to be reaching toward him from somewhere unseen, winding around his limbs.
Had Xu Zimo not sensed them carefully, he likely would not have noticed them at all.
These lines had no effect on him, yet Xu Zimo inexplicably felt somewhat uncomfortable.
"Don't mind it," Miss Mirror said with a smile.
"The entire courtyard has been set up by my master as a Heavenly Mystery Array. Everyone who enters is connected by Heavenly Mystery Lines.
"It won't affect you, nor is it aimed at you specifically."
Xu Zimo nodded and walked toward the innermost part of the courtyard.
There was a pavilion there.
Gongyang Ce sat down on a Stone Stool, placed the Immortal Brewed Wine beside him, then patted the stone table before him. "Mirror girl, come here."
Miss Mirror smiled at Xu Zimo, then walked behind Gongyang Ce.
"I know all about your background," Gongyang Ce said slowly as he looked at Xu Zimo.
"I can't help you, but for the sake of the Immortal Brewed Wine, you may make another request. I'll do my best to help you."
"I only want news of the Xuan Yuan Family," Xu Zimo said, shaking his head.
"You have ties with the Xuan Yuan Family?"
