"Cover!" the monk shouted softly. Like an Arhat of golden body, an enormous alms bowl rose into the air.
Once the bowl reached the sky, golden light blazed forth, covering half the heavens as it descended directly upon the mysterious object.
Just as it was about to envelop it, a loud bang rang out. Something had struck the alms bowl.
Everyone focused their eyes and saw a string of skull prayer beads radiating Demonic Qi tear through the void.
They clashed head-on with the alms bowl.
The monk from Ci Yuan Temple looked toward the Demon Temple group beside them and frowned. "What do you mean by this?
"Stopping me from capturing this fiendish creature—are you in league with it?"
"To capture this evil thing, you still need our Demon Temple. You people from Ci Yuan Temple can just stand by and watch," said a vicious-looking Young Man, resembling a Demon Monk, as he stepped out from the Demon Temple side.
He grinned.
"Wang Nu, don't go too far," the monk from Ci Yuan Temple shouted.
"And what if I do?" Wang Nu sneered.
The skull prayer beads in the sky directly smashed aside the alms bowl, transforming into waves of Ghost Qi that shrouded the evil thing within.
The monster struggled, constantly trying to break through the seal, but all its efforts were in vain.
The skulls curled into a ball, turning into a streak of black light that fell from the void.
"Wang Nu, you..." The monk from Ci Yuan Temple wore an ugly expression at the sight.
"Senior Brother Wu, don't get so angry," a young monk with raised bumps atop his head and an exceedingly childish appearance reminded him with a smile.
