"Hurricane Cage." Ancestor Wu Ling struck again.
The howling tornado began to riot, the azure winds answering one another from beginning to end as they formed a circle.
Xu Zimo's figure stood squarely within that circle.
"Tighten." Ancestor Wu Ling gave another soft shout.
Those clear winds began to shrink their range. By the end, Xu Zimo discovered that the tornado had vanished.
Yet he himself had been restrained by this power.
He could not move at all. Even taking a single step was incomparably difficult.
He could only stand where he was.
"Ancestor is mighty!" disciples of the Haotian Sect shouted from nearby.
"Search him for the token," Ancestor Wu Ling ordered.
The moment his words fell, before those disciples could approach, lightning began to coil around Xu Zimo's body.
All methods and all things in the world naturally restrained one another.
For example, wind was formless by nature. Though it did not belong to the five elements, it was restrained by lightning.
The violent lightning directly tore apart the hurricane's restraints.
Looking up, the sky was densely covered in dark clouds, a complete mess, as though wild winds had swept through it.
The hurricane moved with the lightning, while Xu Zimo seemed like a king amidst the thunderbolts.
He held startling lightning in his hand as explosions of "crackle, crackle" rang out without end.
"Law Manifests Heaven and Earth, one of the Ten Great Divine Methods!" Xu Zimo shouted.
He was still not satisfied. His body expanded several hundredfold, like a true giant.
The force of the lightning grew ever stronger.
Everyone around him swallowed hard, and even Ancestor Wu Ling's expression turned grave.
"All of you, fall back," he ordered.
Then the Wind Beast behind him opened its mouth, and surging gales came roaring forth once more.
