"Crack, crack," rang out without end.

The entire earth trembled.

Yet the Myriad Water Flow remained like pools of stagnant water, utterly motionless.

As though even if heaven and earth overturned beneath it and the sky itself collapsed, it would remain unmoved.

As the cracking sounds continued to ring out,

the depths began to boil, and a path split open through the originally dark waters.

Then the path sealed shut, revealing a doorway.

It was a tiny doorway, only large enough for one person to enter.

"Child, come in," the voice sighed.

"Perhaps you are the hope of everything."

Xu Zimo was not afraid and walked straight through the small door.

The moment he entered, the scene before his eyes began to change.

This was actually an enormous space.

At its center stood an immense dragon pillar that soared into the heavens, its end impossible to see at a glance.

No one knew where it led.

Chains wound around the dragon pillar.

Aside from that, corals of every shape and color grew throughout the space.

Magnificent and dazzling beyond description.

"Where are you?" Xu Zimo called out.

After entering, he had not seen a single figure.

That made Xu Zimo somewhat suspicious. Could this be some sort of trap?

"I am right in front of you," the voice replied.

Xu Zimo froze and looked over the countless corals before him.

"You're coral?" he asked.

"To your left. Look at that sealed pillar," the voice said.

This time, the voice carried emotion. It was no longer as cold as before.

Instead, it sounded like an old man in the twilight of his years.

"A pillar?" Xu Zimo was startled.

He quickly turned his head, pulling away as he watched vigilantly.

Before this, he had not sensed anything unusual about the pillar.
