"Sir, it's here." Among the many officers and soldiers stood a man in a scholar's robe.
The man carried a dense air of refinement, like a schoolteacher.
What set him apart was the circular pattern on his forehead.
Inside the pattern were wave-like markings.
Anyone with some knowledge of the Heavenly Court would recognize it as a distinctive symbol of the Heavenly Court.
This kind of mark was unusual; no one dared to impersonate it.
"This is the place?" The man, Yu Qingcheng, asked with a frown.
"The Demon Race people are here." The person beside him nodded.
"This lowly one sent people to follow them. There can be no mistake."
"Do not hurt anyone. Drive them all out of Chang'an City," Yu Qingcheng said flatly.
"Yes." The soldier waved his right hand, and the troops behind him filed inside like fish swimming through a stream.
Xu Zimo sat beneath the stage. When the soldiers rushed in, someone held his portrait, and they immediately surrounded him.
"Take care of yourself." Jiang Chenyu rose to leave.
"It is impossible for the Demon Race to divide the human race."
"So you are Xu Zimo." Yu Qingcheng walked over and glanced at Jiang Chenyu.
Though he did not greet her, he still bowed slightly, his attitude somewhat respectful.
"This matter has nothing to do with me. There is no need to consider me." Jiang Chenyu waved a hand.
Only then did Yu Qingcheng turn to Xu Zimo. "Stand up and come with me."
"And who are you?" Xu Zimo asked with interest.
"You do not need to know that." Yu Qingcheng's manner was cold as he said icily, "If you do not wish to die, obediently do as you are told."
