"Sure." Xu Zimo nodded and replied with a faint smile.
The old woman froze for a moment, then quickly recovered.
She lifted the cloth covering the cart and took out an azure-blue fruit.
The fruit was only the size of a fist, entirely transparent.
It looked like a sapphire-blue piece of amber, exceedingly beautiful.
Xu Zimo accepted the fruit and swallowed it in one bite.
Seeing Xu Zimo eat the fruit, the old woman revealed a kindly smile.
She covered the cart again and pushed it away, preparing to leave.
Yet at that moment, Xu Zimo planted a foot on the cart and grinned at the old woman.
"It tastes good. Give me another."
"Everyone can only eat one," the old woman said calmly.
"What if I insist on having another?" Xu Zimo asked with a faint smile.
The old woman shot Xu Zimo an icy glance. Ignoring him, she lowered her head and prepared to push the cart away again.
Xu Zimo smiled at this and took out several strange leaves that the breeze had blown into his pocket earlier.
He looked at the old woman and asked, "Did you lose something?"
The old woman glanced at Xu Zimo, then looked at the leaves with an inscrutable gaze. In a hoarse voice, she replied, "Never seen them."
"How could you not have seen them? Shouldn't these have fallen from you?" Xu Zimo said with a light chuckle.
At Xu Zimo's words, the old woman's pupils abruptly contracted.
Her right arm instantly withered, transforming into a branch that shot toward Xu Zimo like lightning.
Xu Zimo swept out a hand, directly seized the branches lunging at him, and snapped it with force.
With a crack, the branches broke into several pieces. The old woman before him flew into a rage.
