"You mean Old Master Pi, right? No one else in this town has that surname," the man replied with a smile.
"What do you want with Old Master Pi?"
"I heard his family has lived here for generations. I wanted to ask him about Void Valley," Xu Zimo replied.
"Oh, then you've come to the right person," the passerby said with a smug chuckle.
He continued, "Let me tell you, when Void Town was founded, Old Master Pi was among the first people to build it.
"Even before the town was established, he was already scraping by here.
"Ever since his grandfather's generation, their family has made a living selling Voidwood. They're the oldest generation in all of Void Town."
"Where does he live?" Xu Zimo asked.
"Head east from here. The old residence with the largest grounds at the easternmost edge of town is his home," the man said, pointing in that direction.
"But he hasn't gone to Void Valley these past few years. I heard it's because both his son and daughter died inside."

He looked around. Those who could survive in this town were, for the most part, Rogue Cultivators with no one to rely on.
