The first floor of Eternal Pavilion was exceedingly spacious, occupying nearly a third of the entire street.

At its center stood a circular raised platform.

With the platform as the heart, countless seats had been arranged around it. On either side stood vermilion pillars, upon which dragons soared and phoenixes danced, several golden dragons carved so lifelike they seemed ready to spring free.

Various famous paintings hung on the walls to either side, depicting deep forests and dense grass and trees.

Dozens of fragrant flowers filled the entire first-floor hall.

Looking upward, Eternal Pavilion had three floors in total. The third floor was generally where members of the Wan family lived and was not open to the public.

Following the pillars adorned with soaring dragons and dancing phoenixes upward, the second floor was filled with private rooms.

They were named in all sorts of ways—wind, rain, thunder, lightning; plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum.

Xu Zimo glanced around. There were probably several dozen rooms in all.

Following Manager Wan upstairs, the group was arranged in a private room named "Bamboo."

The room was not particularly spacious. Inside was a wooden table with a plate of fruit on it.

Several soft cotton seats stood around it, while near the corridor was a window specifically meant for viewing the first floor.

The lighting inside was dim, and a faint, secluded fragrance lingered in the air.

"Young Master Lin, and everyone else, I'll arrange for you to stay here. If anything comes up, find me anytime," Manager Wan said with a smile.

"Thank you for the trouble, Manager Wan," Lin Feng said, nodding slightly.
