From afar, Eternal City sprawled across the land, boundless as far as the eye could see.
It was like a gigantic beast lying prone upon this vast and desolate earth.
The city was bustling beyond measure. The entire place was built from blue stone bricks and tiles; some sections of the ancient city wall had been newly constructed, while others bore mottled traces of age, clearly dating back countless years.
Once, the world beyond the Immortal Dao Bridge had invaded the Eternal Continent. As the first line of defense, Eternal City had rendered supreme service in that battle.
It was said that the war had nearly destroyed the entire city. After rebuilding it, people preserved some of the ancient ruins.

The city was divided into four districts, each one exceedingly vast.

Guards clad in golden armor stood solemnly on either side of the entrance. Upon the towering city wall, there were only two characters: Eternal City.
The calligraphy was heavy and majestic, as though it had been imprinted into the wall itself, one with the blue bricks and green tiles, carrying an ancient charm rich with flavor.
It was said that these words had been personally inscribed by the Eternal God King.
When later generations rebuilt Eternal City, they found these stone fragments bearing the characters amid the ruins and pieced them back together.
After entering the city, the main street directly ahead was broad and level, wide enough for dozens of people to walk abreast.
People flowed endlessly through the streets. Besides the shops lining both sides, there were also designated areas where peddlers carrying shoulder poles could set up stalls.
