Roundtable Hold.
Zhao Si had not been back for some time. Stepping into the Two Fingers' territory, he somehow felt as though a lifetime had passed.
Seeing those familiar faces only made it feel more unreal.
"Oh, the Elden champion's home!" Alberich said with a smile.
"I never thought you'd really become champion." Bagralim walked over and patted Zhao Si on the shoulder. "I'm very proud of you. You've grown quickly."
"Yeah, Master Ba. Old Man died," Zhao Si said.
"I heard. He was a good swordsman. I hope we can see him again." Bagralim also felt a little down.
In his eyes, Old Man had indeed been a worthy opponent.
"What brings you back this time?" Bagralim asked.
"Well, the Two Fingers wanted to see me about something," Zhao Si said with a smile. "Helena should be leaving with me too."
Bagralim nodded. "Go on. We've been busy while you've been away from me. We've done plenty of missions."
"Really?" Zhao Si frowned slightly. "The Two Fingers never told me."
"You're a busy man!" Alberich called out. "Too busy to spend any time with us."
Zhao Si felt a little apologetic. "Whatever the case, I really should thank you for all your help at the beginning."
"Oh, give it a rest. What is this, a reunion?" Alberich looked thoroughly annoyed. "If you've got something to do, go do it. We haven't got time to chat."
Zhao Si smiled and went upstairs.
Alberich looked a little forlorn. "Your little pet's getting stronger and stronger. He might have even surpassed you."
Bagralim leaned against the wall. "He's our colleague. Naturally, the stronger he is, the better."
"I wonder what the Two Fingers think of him." Alberich was a little worried. "I hear that king doesn't like us."
"I heard that too."
