Li Qiuzhi and Nilou defeated the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and its Fungi, then reached a lake in the Abundance Oasis. From above, they spotted Eremite mercenaries lying in ambush for an approaching caravan.

• Li Qiuzhi restrained the Jadeplume Terrorshroom with Psychic Tentacles and knocked it unconscious, then defeated the Fungi that rushed to its aid.
• Li Qiuzhi and Nilou collected the unconscious creatures to take them back for scholars to study.

Li Qiuzhi and Nilou rescued a caravan from an Eremite ambush near Abundance Oasis and helped the guards capture the attackers. Li Qiuzhi began questioning the Eremite leader about the recent increase in desert robberies.

• More than a dozen Eremites ambushed a caravan traveling from Sumeru City, and the guards prepared to defend it.
• The caravan leader tried to retreat with the Mora, but the Eremites attacked again and threatened the guards.
• Li Qiuzhi stopped the Eremites with his power, then introduced himself to the caravan leader alongside Nilou.
• The caravan guards reported that robberies in the desert had recently become more frequent and violent.
• Li Qiuzhi released the frozen Eremites one at a time so the guards could tie them up.
