So, after Aha stopped him, Nanook abandoned the idea.
Aha had done so because he wanted to see what Lingchen would ultimately turn the Emanator of Destruction into.

Lingchen sneered and said no more.
Boundless, multicolored light radiated from his body, and a sound like space freezing echoed through the void.
A crystal lotus appeared beneath Lingchen's feet, continually blooming while its lower petals closed and shattered. On closer inspection, countless images seemed to flash across it.
"Remembrance? You're also an Emanator of Remembrance? No, you're not an Emanator."
Celenova had long suspected that Lingchen was more than just an Emanator of Elation.
What ordinary Emanator of Elation could so effortlessly subdue and transform Zephyro?
Even the final strike she had launched while secretly "hiding" had looked unremarkable, but it combined target locking, penetration, and annihilation.
It was a killing blow that fused her authority with vast amounts of Imaginary Energy. Even an Emanator of Remembrance or Harmony would be gravely injured by a glancing hit. Taking it head-on would probably send them straight to a respawn point.
As the vanguard general Nanook deployed most often, Celenova was extremely close to Zephyro in strength. Few Emanators could match her in direct combat.
Since Lingchen's authority over Elation surpassed that of an Emanator, allowing him to transform Zephyro so easily, his authority over Remembrance probably surpassed that level as well.
Otherwise, Lingchen would not have used the Path of Remembrance against her now.
After all, a severely wounded Emanator was still an Emanator.
Thus, before the eyes of the many factions watching, a corner of an illusory crystal palace appeared, then swallowed Celenova whole.
And in the final instant before she was swallowed-
