Power raised the blood-red blade in her hand high and slashed at the Bat Devil.
Having drunk some of the Biscuit Devil's blood earlier, Power had grown somewhat stronger, most visibly in her physical attributes, such as strength and speed.
Unable to dodge in time, the Bat Devil tried to block the blood-red blade with its hand.
The next moment, the hand on the Bat Devil's only remaining arm was severed as well.
"Aaaaah!!"
Blood immediately gushed from its severed wrist.
Power took the opportunity to drink the Bat Devil's blood, gradually growing even stronger. The two horns on her head also underwent subtle changes that were impossible to spot without looking very closely.
"Damn you, Blood Devil! I'll kill you!"
The Bat Devil was not so easily defeated, of course. Its mouth suddenly inflated like a balloon before it fired an air bullet.

Yet Asaba Kotone stood completely still. The air bullet passed straight through his body without harming him in the slightest, leaving not even a trace of damage on his clothes.
Only then did Power remember. Oh, right. Asaba has that weird ability too.
With that, she had nothing to worry about.
After passing through Asaba Kotone's body, the air bullet blasted a huge hole in the wall behind him. The entire house then began to teeter, unable to hold together.
