Before the torii gate of Kikyo's shrine.
Luo Shu sat on the Metal Box, holding a notebook and a gel pen. He raised his head and addressed Gray Wolf, who lay on the ground weeping bitterly:
"Is that all you know?"
"That's all, that's all."
Gray Wolf couldn't help shuddering when he saw Luo Shu raise his head.
Every time he prepared to flee, Luo Shu would raise his head and glance at him.
Then he would suddenly be struck by lightning, burned by fire, buffeted by wind, and frozen in ice. Occasionally, the earth would shake, and sometimes a tornado would whirl him around.
After suffering so many attacks in succession, Gray Wolf would probably have given out long ago if Luo Shu hadn't been able to absorb his injuries every time he touched him.
But even if his body held out, he couldn't endure such a tremendous mental battering.
All Gray Wolf wanted now was a quick death. He didn't want Luo Shu to torture him like this anymore.
The Shikon Jewel, killing people and eating their flesh-he wanted none of it anymore. He just wanted to die and end it all!
"You don't look like you're lying, Zero Seven Seven, but I still need to cross-check."
Luo Shu glanced at the notebook in his hand. It contained all the questions he had asked and the answers Gray Wolf had given.
To be safe, he intended to pick a few questions from it and ask Gray Wolf again in rapid succession, giving him no time to think.
If his answers matched, that meant he hadn't lied. If they didn't, then sorry, the interrogation would continue.
"I'm going to ask you a few more questions. You'd better answer honestly."
"Yes, yes, yes, I'll answer."
Hearing Gray Wolf's rapid reply,
