He left Backlund ahead of time, heading to a rarely visited location at sea to prepare his potion and Advancement Ritual.
Sequence 4 of the Secrets Suppliant pathway was called Black Knight. Its offensive and defensive capabilities, as well as the Secrets Suppliant's core ability, Grazing, would all improve significantly. At the next Sequence, Trinity Templar, one would gain preliminary control over the power of ravings.
"Knight" also carried an additional symbolic meaning: a defender of the faith, a knight of the Church. The ritual required investiture by a superior and the swearing of an oath. A successfully advanced Black Knight would also develop subtle inclinations due to the superior's blessing and their own oath.

He successfully advanced at sea in early May, becoming the Aurora Order's sixth Saint, and then happened to catch the True Creator's apotheosis ritual. Thus, rather than return to Backlund, where security restrictions were gradually tightening, Mr. A took the opportunity to spread the True Creator's faith at sea.
