Taking a day off, loud and proud!

It's May Day! Taking the day off! Back tomorrow!

It suddenly occurred to me that, at this point in the original story's timeline, there was only about a year of in-story time left until the ending (with another six months spent trekking through the Forsaken Land of the Gods). Just as I expected, the events at the end of this story will most likely happen much earlier than in the original. That said, watching you all guess where the plot is going is really fun.
