This morning, my parents suddenly dragged me off to a nearby city for barbecue, with departure set for three in the afternoon. Since I couldn't refuse, I had no choice but to be hauled into the car. I thought we could call it a day after dinner, but unexpectedly, once we reached our destination, we started climbing a mountain. We climbed for two hours, and I was in utter agony. And since we didn't take the same route back down, we couldn't find the parking lot afterward.
So we spent two hours looking for the parking lot. One of my parents located one on the map and swore that had to be it. We walked for over half an hour to get there, only to find it wasn't. My WeChat step count might just top the rankings today.
After five hundred years, we finally found the parking lot and successfully checked into a hotel.
Then I discovered that my parents had bought a cheap room on Meituan. I couldn't say it bore no relation whatsoever to the pictures in the reviews, only that it was three hundred off.
We put our things down and were finally ready to head out for barbecue, but my parents suddenly decided we should walk there.
At this point, I was finally certain I couldn't finish writing today. As you read this leave notice, I still haven't had a meal.
