After enjoying some food with the people of the City of Silver, Klein sent Alger a message asking for a brief meeting after the meal.
Then, he silently switched places with his marionette and, after several flashes and teleportations, arrived on an uninhabited island somewhere in the Sonia Sea.
Klein had begun adapting to his current state and reined in his spirituality.
Becoming a complete Mythical Creature had not caused him any discomfort yet, but Klein also knew that this was a long-term, subtle transformation.
He performed a simple divination. The territories Alger and Danitz occupied could safely accommodate these two or three thousand newcomers.
Klein was in no hurry to bring the residents of Moon City to the outside world. He planned to wait until Alger and Danitz had settled the advance party from the City of Silver and gained enough experience before doing so. Besides that, another matter troubled him: the Resistance Army.
He had already decided to separate the "Sea God" from the Fool's image, making it the future identity of a subordinate deity or one of his subordinates. At the same time, he intended to keep the Resistance Army and the people of the Eastern Continent apart for now. As the local god of the Rorsted Archipelago's natives, the "Sea God" naturally stood on the Resistance Army's side, while the "Fool" and the Eastern Continent's survivors need not be drawn into that stance.
Although it was somewhat fanciful, Klein could not help thinking how nice it would be if the Resistance Army could one day establish its own government and gain recognition from the nations of the Northern Continent.
That way, his believers could gather together naturally and recuperate and prosper in peace.
