Ouroboros and Medici! How could They...
...No, no, this was clearly a perfectly normal development. Feysac's Einhorn Royal Family had a "Conqueror" characteristic. If Medici and Ouroboros didn't want to join God Almighty's camp, then I was Their only remaining choice.
And, more conveniently still, I took part in killing the God of Combat, which qualified me to establish a faith in Feysac and claim a share of the country. So I could also help Him fish in troubled waters amid the current chaos and obtain that "Conqueror" characteristic...
Right, wasn't that Einhorn ancestor attached to Medici? His abilities and identity could let Him thrive in Feysac!
But Ouroboros-it was really hard to imagine that Ouroboros would actually follow Medici into my camp too. Was this the guidance of fate for Him, or His only option for avoiding God Almighty?
Klein thought it over through the pain and came to terms with it.
I don't really need to agonize over whether Ouroboros is sincere. Beyonders of the Fate Pathway are just like that, after all. It's not as if I've never met one... They pursue a fate that benefits Them. But Ouroboros's arrival really did give me a fright. Will Auceptin of the Life Council, now Doctor Aaron's youngest son, has helped me several times. Now both Snakes of Fate have appeared around me for various reasons. Does this mean Their destined final battle is approaching?
Ouroboros should know that. If He doesn't think He's walking into a trap, then He must intend to work hard for me.
Once he had worked that out, Klein's thoughts suddenly came alive.
Rebooting fate is incredibly useful!
