Emlyn stared at the Fool in a daze. His Astral Body instantly became a riot of colors as nervousness, excitement, fear, unease, and all manner of other emotions flashed through his heart, like a neon light plugged into a power source.
Seeing that Mr. Fool offered no further explanation, he struggled to organize his thoughts and said:
"In other words, the unusual nature of the Planter and Moon pathways comes from that entity in the cosmos. Apart from the Blessed, the revelations and divine messages people perceive all come from that 'Mother'..."
The more he spoke, the more horrified he became, and the more he thought about it, the more frightened he felt in retrospect, because he realized that many puzzling points had suddenly resolved themselves... Almost every single one was enough to prove that Mr. Fool's words were entirely correct!
"Thank you for clearing up my confusion..."
Only after a full half minute did Emlyn finally recover. He could not help raising a hand to cover his face. The fact that two "Mother Goddesses" really existed in the world had shaken his worldview.
However, he soon came to terms with it. Who the characteristics came from was not actually important; whom he followed now mattered more. So the calls of the "Mother" beyond the world actually had little to do with him. He had joined the Church of the Earth Mother, and his faith lay in the Mother Goddess and the Ancestor. Since the Church regarded that "Mother Goddess's" words and revelations as false temptations, he could simply treat them as false as well.
Still, after thinking it over carefully, Emlyn understood why the Church treated all other divine revelations as the temptations of evil beings.
He raised his head and said to everyone:
