"Have you finished packing? Utopia's railway station starts operating today. We'll leave on the afternoon train."
Everett opened the envelope the attendant had delivered and took out two exquisite tickets, muttering to himself in some confusion:
"But this train doesn't pass through Trier... It should run entirely within Loen, shouldn't it? The place names on it are all in Loen. Do we need to get off and change stations along the way, or contact your other students to pick us up, Teacher?"
He activated Spirit Vision to look again, but the tickets still showed no change.
Hearing this, the old woman couldn't help smiling and shaking her head.
"This city brought us straight here from Trier. There would be nothing strange about sending us back the same way. We'll be staying here until three this afternoon. Is there anything else you want to do?"
Everett put down the tickets. "I'd like to buy some souvenirs to take back."
"The most interesting souvenirs in Utopia are all kinds of food, like cream cakes, bread rolls, and toast... I'd really like to buy more to take home to Mom and Dad. I was worried that if I bought them too early, I wouldn't be able to resist eating them myself."
The old woman nodded. "There's still some time before we leave. Bring them back after you buy them, and I can use a few little spells to keep them perfectly fresh. Although we probably can't judge this train by ordinary standards, it should still take at least several hours to return to Trier."
"Besides those, is there anything else you'd like to buy?"
Anything else?
"The books in Utopia's Municipal Library are all very new, but the family doesn't lack books. I'd rather read accounts of different places and travel journals."
