Welcoming the God of Wealth on the fifth day of the New Year!
After several busy days since finishing the book, I finally had time to write this afterword.
As the book approached its ending, I often thought about what I would write in the afterword, and kept celebrating prematurely. But once I had rested enough and successfully finished the book, I had pretty much forgotten all those scattered thoughts and remarks.
An afterword shouldn't be too long, so I'll just write a little about the things you might be interested in!
[1: About the extras]
The extras must be what everyone is most concerned about right now! So I'll address that first.
First of all, all the extras will be completely free.
The extras will cover a lot of things, most notably the "bad-ending timeline that I couldn't write for various reasons." But I won't spend another few million Chinese characters narrating the bad-ending route like I did the main story (after all, quite a bit of it overlaps with the current happy ending, and you wouldn't want me to flesh out the bad ending only for it to blow up, right?). I'll write out the bad ending chapter by chapter in a relatively simple but serious way, something like a "detailed outline."
All the extras will be released in Volume Eight, "Everlasting Sorrow." I'll still be updating on Qidian, and these few hundred thousand Chinese characters will also be a free gift to you all.
Of course, besides the bad-ending storyline, the extras volume will also contain lots of little ideas I never got to write while working on the story, as well as some what-if routes.
Not everyone will necessarily like this content, so I hope you'll read according to your own preferences, and "please stop suggesting
