The Auspicious Beast looked anything but presentable now. Scratches and even bite wounds covered her body, and the bright blood soaking her fur had turned an unsettling dark red.
A large section of the once-beautiful, brilliant golden mane around her neck was missing, exposing the fine golden scales beneath.
"What's going on? What happened?"
Chen Ping connected himself to the Auspicious Beast through his spiritual power and asked quietly.
"It sneaked into my lair, stole my Mirage Dragon Pearl, and even used the Mirage Dragon Shell's effect to disguise itself as me and bite the Scarlet King's leg. I'm going to slaughter it!"
At this point, the Auspicious Beast's emotions were extremely unstable. Fury kept surging inside her head, and her spiritual fluctuations shook like an electrocardiogram.
