The blue bubble settled over Chen Ping, and the seawater parted to either side on its own. Without encountering the slightest obstruction, it carried him down into the depths of the sea. He felt none of the water pressure and could even breathe comfortably.
This effect was almost identical to that of the Heart of the Ocean.
The seawater gradually deepened in color. The light radiating from the blue bubble let him make out some of his surroundings, but he could not see far.
Every Sea Soul Beast in the ocean moved away of its own accord upon sensing the bubble's aura.
They descended very quickly. After about ten minutes, their speed began to slow, and light actually appeared below.
Chen Ping focused his gaze, and shock involuntarily showed in his eyes.
Deep on the seabed, a complex of palace-like buildings stood silently, radiating a blue glow that illuminated an area dozens of kilometers across.
He could clearly see mermaids swimming among them, and all the buildings were constructed from coral and various rare mineral deposits found in the sea.
Although they were not true buildings like those of humans, they had a distinctly oceanic character. For instance, Chen Ping saw a mermaid emerge from an enormous shell a full five meters tall and swim swiftly through the water.
So this was the world beneath the sea! It was simply magnificent.
Soon, another crowned mermaid swam out. Unlike Lina's, however, the crown on her forehead was golden, as were the scales on the fish tail that formed her lower body. She possessed the distinctive charm of a beautiful middle-aged woman.
"Little Blue, and our honored guest, hello. I am the leader of the Sea Princess Clan."
Hearing her words, Chen Ping's heart jolted.
Apart from Di Tian, this Sea Princess
