Ampharos hummed a cheerful little tune as he walked along a path in Fairy Tale Ranch.
What a lovely place! he thought, the orbs on his body flashing with a soft glow in time with his light steps.
Among the trees, across the pasture, and in the flower fields and pond.
Every place brimmed with life and energy, and all of it put Ampharos at ease.
In his world, the collapse of Temporal Tower had left many places frozen in time.
The Pokémon there lived in fear, too. Such carefree scenes were a rare sight.
"Bzz, bzz."
The weather was lovely that day, and Vespiquen was taking a leisurely stroll through the Orchard with her six children.
She beat her wings gracefully, six Combee following behind her in a neat little squad.
Spotting the two Celebi and Ampharos, Vespiquen floated over and inclined her head slightly. "Good day." Her voice was gentle and resonant.
"La-hwa!" The green Celebi happily flew a circle around Vespiquen, while the pink Celebi gave her a polite nod.
Ampharos lowered his head slightly and gave a friendly croon. "Miu-Ming~"
"Hello~"
Vespiquen's gaze settled on Ampharos with a hint of curiosity. "Are you a new guest? I have never seen you at the ranch before."
"Yes, this is Ampharos, the leader of the Pokémon Exploration Team.
"He came from somewhere very far away and only arrived at the ranch for a visit this morning."
The green Celebi explained from beside them, and Vespiquen nodded after listening.
"I see." Though she had no idea what this so-called exploration team was, Vespiquen still wore a look of understanding.
"So long as they do not disturb our peaceful lives here, we welcome anyone who comes.
"Then please, enjoy your tour. I shall take my leave."
