Chapter Summaries

On June 14, Tong Hua and the Pokémon prepared and opened the Wonderful Potion Shop at Fairy Tale Ranch. With flyers sent to Windring Town and Chicory Village, Hattrem waited behind the counter for the first customer.

• Tong Hua woke early, prepared breakfast for the ranch Pokémon, and announced that the Wonderful Potion Shop was opening that day.

Old Jack mistook Tong Hua’s new Wonderful Potion Shop for an unlicensed pharmacy, but Tong Hua and Hattrem convinced him that its Berry-based potions were safe and effective. Old Jack bought the shop’s first products and offered to recommend them around the village, just as another visitor arrived.

• Old Jack rode to Fairy Tale Ranch after receiving a flyer for Tong Hua’s Wonderful Potion Shop and worried that Tong Hua was selling medicine without a license.
• Old Jack confronted Tong Hua, who explained that the shop sold Berry Juice-based potions rather than conventional medicine.
• Hattrem introduced the Panacea, and Old Jack tried a Recovery Potion and felt his fatigue ease.
