The next moment, he swept his great hand forward. An irresistible heavenly might of the ultimate Dao erupted, striking the Wuliang Grand Array with crushing force.
The Wuliang Dao Wheel immediately fought back. Vast torrents of Wuliang tribulation light poured forth, evolving into the four tribulations of earth, water, fire, and wind, and collided violently with the palm seal sweeping through the void.
In an instant, the Heaven Venerable Grand Array faltered. Ziwei's earth shook and mountains trembled, as though the end of the world would descend in the very next moment.
But the Supreme did not escape unscathed either. The tremendous recoil traveled back through his divine power and struck him, visibly making him stagger in the void.
At this sight, the living beings of Ziwei watching the battlefield immediately burst into cheers. Much of their earlier despair was swept away in an instant. As though they had glimpsed hope, the faith empowering the Wuliang Dao Wheel surged even more fiercely.
Seeing his strike fail to achieve anything, only for a weapon to exploit the opening, the leading Divine Flame Supreme seemed to have suffered an immense insult. A chilling edge entered his voice, as though he were suppressing a towering fury.
"A mere weapon dares dream of defying heaven? Even if your master came in person, death would be his only fate. No one can save you.
Offer up your lives. I shall lead you to immortality!"
Towering divine flames surged up in an instant and burned toward the Wuliang Grand Array. The roaring flames seemed to carry some destructive Dao power, and a Dao intent of finality began spreading through the array.
The Wuliang Dao Wheel resisted with all its strength, but it struggled to fend off the assault on every side.
As the divine flames continued to burn, the array began melting beneath that terrifying fire. Even empowered by faith, it could no longer hold on.
The smiles had yet to fade from the faces of Ziwei's living beings when an even greater despair engulfed them, extinguishing every last trace of the faint hope they had just found.
And even now, the two figures standing beside the Divine Flame Supreme had yet to act.
The situation before them was already clear. Ziwei's defeat was all but certain, and there was no longer any way to turn the tide.

After holding out for a few breaths, the array finally burst apart completely, becoming a sky full of spiritual light raining down like a dazzling shower of falling petals.
Beautiful though the sight was, no one had the heart to admire it. On Ziwei Star, every sentient being who witnessed it was chilled to the bone.
The Divine Flame Supreme delayed no longer. His peerless, supreme aura swept across the heavens and earth, enveloping all of Ziwei.
Terrifying Dao power was about to surge forth, becoming the most dreadful world-destroying divine might. In the very next moment, the entire Ziwei Ancient Star might be utterly shattered beneath that power, reduced to cosmic dust amid the most brilliant fireworks.
When that happened, the countless living beings on Ziwei Star would all perish. Whether lofty Quasi-Emperors or mortals in mundane kingdoms, there would be no distinction between them at that moment. They would shatter into the universe along with their star.
Their vital essence and blood energy would then be devoured by the Three Venerables beyond their world, becoming provisions for their journey along the path to immortality, leaving only Ziwei's countless wronged souls and regrets lingering through eternity.
At this critical instant, a strange fluctuation came from the heavenly heart imprint above the nine heavens. Like a spring breeze turning to nourishing rain, it instantly dissolved that terrifying Dao power of finality. The ultimate might pervading the void also vanished like smoke at that moment.

The next moment, all Three Venerables sensed something and looked toward a certain direction in the universe.
There, a middle-aged Daoist with slightly graying hair was slowly walking toward them.
