The part about taking a day off
Today was supposed to mark the start of the Perfect World Volume, a storyline many readers have been looking forward to for a long time. But I ate something bad today and really can't manage an update, so I'm very sorry-there will be no update tonight.
Of course, I'll resume normal updates tomorrow, and I expect to finish all the transition chapters in one go.
The preview part
As for the upcoming story, this book will begin a new arc: the Perfect World Volume. If the writing goes smoothly, the Perfect World Volume may run for quite a substantial length before returning to the era of Shrouding the Heavens. I hope everyone will be happy with this arrangement.

When this book was first signed, the planned length was 700,000 Chinese characters. Later, I made a promise to many readers that, no matter what, I would only consider ending it after reaching a million characters. That will not change.
However, I also need to start preparing an outline and a backlog of chapters for my next book.
