Back in the hotel room, Shen Qi had only thought the danger came from the ship unfortunately sinking before the Security Bureau arrived.
If Porygon died that way, it certainly would not be called "destruction."
The Emotional Script giving this failure condition meant Porygon might be captured by Team Rocket again;
the other possibility... was being destroyed by the Security Bureau!
Though he did not want to speculate in that direction, at this stage, either Team Rocket or the Security Bureau could get their hands on Porygon.
Since arriving in this world, Shen Qi had never seen any news of Team Rocket being active, and the Security Bureau... why would they destroy Porygon?
They ought to be giving him an award!
Shen Qi's expression shifted between confusion and surprise. Akiho noticed something and was considering how to ask when several lights pierced the darkness out at sea.
They were the Security Bureau's boats!
"Why are there so many?!"
Earlier, the Security Bureau had brought two of their own assault boats and borrowed a medium-sized speedboat from the Luxury Resort.
Now, the hazy lights and silhouettes speeding toward them from the western waters numbered at least five boats.
A sense of foreboding rose in Shen Qi's heart. Akiho had already taken out her phone and the radio used internally at the Luxury Resort.
"Let's head back inside first."
"Wait, those assault boats should all be Security Bureau models."
Having often made transport runs at night, Shen Qi had excellent eyesight and night vision, allowing him to make out the boats more accurately than Akiho.
The one in front was undoubtedly a Security Bureau assault boat.
Akiho steadied herself and called the staff over the radio. The boats had come into view, and just as Shen Qi had
