An album drawn with the Colored Crayon opened, and two petite, coffee-brown figures appeared in the center of the picture.
Buneary!
Shen Qi recognized the Pokémon: two Buneary, the juvenile form of Lopunny.
Their tiny bodies stood less than half a meter tall, even shorter than the baby Wingull that had come to shelter from the rain, and roughly a quarter of Lilligant's height.
Their bodies were coffee-brown, with fluffy, cream-colored fur around their waists resembling flared ballet skirts. One ear stood upright while the other curled up, forming a rather playful headdress.
"Don't tell me this scenario features a pair of sisters... This... how could I possibly accept? How am I supposed to resist?"
More importantly, one of the Buneary did not have the usual coffee-and-cream coloring. The tufts around her waist, her little feet, the tips of her ears, and the other parts that should have been cream-colored... were actually pink.
A Shiny Buneary!
Scientific name: Shiny Pokémon.
Pokémon whose colors differed from normal individuals were extremely rare, but this did not affect their stats. They were an aspect of the game that appealed to those interested in aesthetics or collecting.
That meant the Lopunny that the Shiny Buneary evolved into would also have a coffee-brown-and-pink color scheme.
It was like the original drink being coffee with a milk cap, while the shiny version became coffee with a strawberry milk cap.
He turned to the next picture.
It still showed the two Buneary, their poses unchanged, with their backs to the viewer as they faced the mountain scenery ahead.
The difference was that the fresh green of sprouting vegetation around them had turned deep green.
"Summer, I guess."
In the third picture, the Buneary held hands as they admired the scenery: red leaves, ginkgo trees, and crisp autumn
