Ch. 461Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Lisia and Sayaka faced off in the Battle Competition final after Shen Qi got caught between the two rivals and chose to sit with the referees. The competitors completed the BP picks and bans, and the match was about to begin.

  • Lisia led Shen Qi toward the arena, where Sayaka confronted him for supporting her opponent, but Shen Qi avoided choosing sides by sitting in the referees' rest area.
  • The referees checked the competitors' equipment after Lisia and Sayaka completed their tense pre-match ceremony.
  • The Pokémon were revealed: Sayaka had concealed Vespiquen, while Lisia had concealed Altaria and also brought Abra, Slowbro, Quagsire, Samurott, Gorebyss, and Seaking.
  • Lisia banned Sayaka's Hisuian Lilligant, and Sayaka banned Lisia's Samurott.
  • The BP phase ended with both sides' remaining Pokémon covered by Barrier Points as the final preparations began.

Ch. 462Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Sayaka turned the battle around by poisoning Lisia’s Altaria and forcing it to retreat, then brought out her attacking Lurantis. Lisia answered with Slowbro, and Lurantis began a powerful sun-fueled attack.

  • Lisia opened with Altaria against Sayaka’s Lurantis, which protected itself from Aerial Ace and poisoned Altaria with Toxic.
  • Sayaka rushed toward Lisia, then used Lasso to pull herself back to Lurantis and threw a harmless Worker skill to distract Altaria.
  • Lurantis slowed Altaria with Scary Face and held off its attacks with Protect while poison steadily drained its Barrier Points.
  • Sayaka retreated as Lisia recalled Altaria, whose poison damage had left it with only 93% of its Barrier Points.
  • Sayaka sent out her attacking Lurantis, which used Sunny Day before Lisia brought in Slowbro; Lurantis absorbed the simulated sunlight and launched a brilliant blade.

Ch. 463Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Lisia used Slowbro, Abra, and Altaria to turn the battle against Sayaka’s Lurantis, Dynamaxed Aromatisse, and Vespiquen, leaving Sayaka struggling with an unstable Dynamax. Sayaka could not recall Aromatisse after Dynamax ended because her Poké Ball had not reverted to normal.

  • Lisia used Slowbro’s Eject Button and Regenerator to cycle him out while Lurantis defeated Gorebyss, then Lurantis was trapped by Seaking’s Whirlpool.
  • Sayaka began Dynamaxing Aromatisse as the second phase started, while Seaking repeatedly threatened Lurantis with Horn Drill and helped Slowbro finish her off.
  • Slowbro damaged Dynamaxed Aromatisse with Zen Headbutt, and Abra’s Wonder Room swapped her defenses, allowing Lisia to knock Aromatisse out of the battle.
  • Lisia sent out Altaria, which used a Lum Berry to recover barrier points, revealing that Lisia had never planned to Mega Evolve her.
  • Aromatisse began shrinking after Dynamax ended and nearly fell on Sayaka, who discovered she could not recall Aromatisse because the Poké Ball was still partly Dynamaxed.

Ch. 464Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Lisia defeated Sayaka in the festival exhibition tournament, while Sayaka overcame her fear of revealing her scarred face. Shen Qi was arrested after Lilligant smelled other Pokémon on him, then used a Memory Image to uncover the opening of the script “The Journey Home,” where Wingull discovered his Poké Ball had become ownerless.

  • Altaria rescued Sayaka and Lisia from a falling structure, but Sayaka’s mask was blown away and her scarred face was exposed.
  • Sayaka conceded, and the referees declared Lisia the tournament’s winner; Lisia told Sayaka she had overcome herself.
  • Lilligant smelled other Pokémon on Shen Qi, and Officer Jenny had him taken to the Detention Room.
  • Shen Qi used a Memory Image to view fragments from “The Journey Home,” revealing Wingull beside a washed-up Poké Ball.
  • Wingull sensed that his Poké Ball was ownerless, realized his Trainer had likely died, and flew into the night calling out.

Ch. 465Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi watched Wingull’s emotional [Memory Image] and learned how the lost Pokémon searched for him, waited at the Security Bureau, then left Island 6 and struggled to grow stronger. The images ended with Wingull living among children, studying, and gazing uncertainly toward the sea, while Shen Qi had only a bandaged hand and a children’s facility as clues to who had rescued him.

  • Shen Qi learned that Wingull searched Ruins Valley and returned to the Farmhouse Courtyard, where he found neither Shen Qi nor Mime Jr.
  • Wingull stayed at the Security Bureau as the months passed, and Officer Pidgey told him Shen Qi was presumed dead after six months missing.
  • Wingull overheard people say Shen Qi might be dead and lament that he could not use Fly, then left Island 6 to learn from other Pokémon.
  • Wingull endured a storm and collapsed on unfamiliar land, where someone with a bandaged hand reached for him.
  • Wingull later lived among children, learned to read and use new moves, but remained unsure where to go next.

Ch. 466Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi trained with Golett after its affection progress reached 100%, then analyzed the Saffron Gym battle with Wude. Wude demonstrated that skilled Trainers could refine Dynamax, leaving Shen Qi to examine Machamp’s unusual Gigantamax form.

  • Golett began formal training alongside Shen Qi, and its “Stone Bone Longing” affection progress reached 100%, earning Shen Qi a Skill Card and a special item.
  • Shen Qi told Wude that Lisia’s battle lacked tactical coordination and that Sayaka’s Dynamax was unpracticed.
  • Wude explained that Sayaka appeared experienced with Mega Evolution and suggested she may have lost a former core Pokémon.
  • Wude took Shen Qi to a practice room and discussed Dynamax’s drawbacks, including the difficulty of dodging, moving, and protecting a Trainer.
  • Wude used his Dynamax Band to transform Machamp, whose body stopped growing at the room’s ceiling while its Gigantamax appearance emerged.

Ch. 467Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi learned about Wude’s advanced Dynamax Form and continued training in Mega Evolution, while Lopunny learned Return. After Officer Jenny arrested him for his suggestive remarks, Shen Qi inspected the final reward from “Stone Bone Longing” and found Soul Resonance.

  • Wude demonstrated how Machamp could gain Dynamax power while keeping a compact, mobile body, and explained that Shen Qi should focus on mastering Mega Evolution before learning Dynamax.
  • Shen Qi trained with Azumi and visited equipment stores to practice controlling Mega Evolution energy with universal Mega Stones.
  • During a break with Shen Qi, Lopunny learned Return, and Shen Qi teased her about how she might use the move.
  • Officer Jenny overheard Shen Qi’s suggestive remarks to Lopunny and had him arrested.
  • In the Detention Room, Shen Qi examined his reward from “Stone Bone Longing” and discovered Soul Resonance, which activated another soul talent within his body.

Ch. 468Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi tested how [Soul Resonance] boosted Dodo and Golett, then investigated Wingull’s past by obtaining footage of a Saffron City celebration. Lisia handed him the hard drive but demanded to know why he wanted it, and Shen Qi admitted it was partly because of her.

  • Shen Qi used [Soul Resonance] on Golett and Dodo, discovering that it greatly increased their stats and let him adjust their Abilities.
  • Shen Qi tested Golett’s moves, finding that he could use Ancient Power but could not use Wing Attack without wings.
  • Shen Qi asked Lisia to obtain the full footage of a Saffron City celebration to search for clues about Wingull’s past.
  • Lisia met Shen Qi at a café and gave him the celebration footage on a Mobile Hard Drive.
  • Lisia stopped Shen Qi from taking the drive and asked why he wanted the footage, and Shen Qi said it was important to him and partly involved her.

Ch. 469Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi told Lisia about hoping to reunite with his Wingull, then joined her for a late-night drive on the White Cape highway. Lisia lost her first two Chase Races, leaving Shen Qi beside her as the night runs continued.

  • Shen Qi told Lisia that he wanted to find Wingull and learn whether she was safe, and Lisia wished him luck.
  • Lisia thanked Shen Qi for suggesting she challenge Li Yizi in racing and explained that her family owned a racetrack.
  • Lisia invited Shen Qi to go racing during Cinderella Time, and they rented a Mustang with her manager, Arisa.
  • Lisia drove to White Cape and lost her first Chase Race before barely winning a second against an amateur Driver.

Ch. 470Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi and Lisia raced on White Cape Road, where Shen Qi learned that the Mega Evolution World Line allowed racers to weaken their opponents with moves. After driving with Lisia, Lilligant decided she wanted to train harder so she could compete in the battle arena alongside Sayaka.

  • Lisia lost a roadside race, so Lilligant took the wheel and drove with Shen Qi while Lisia rode along.
  • Shen Qi discovered that racers in the Mega Evolution World Line could use debuff moves to reduce opponents’ car performance.
  • Arisa woke at a rest stop and went with Shen Qi to buy drinks while Lilligant stayed with Lisia.
  • Lisia returned from a drive and said she wanted to improve enough to beat Li Yizi at racing.
  • Lilligant told Shen Qi she wanted to train at the same intensity as the others and enter the battle arena to compete with Sayaka.

Ch. 471Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi learned that the Fighting Dojo was facing a likely defeat in a Saffron Gym race and volunteered to compete in its place. He chose the D-class car Little Sheep and asked the dojo engineers to modify it before the race.

  • Shen Qi learned from Xinyan that Wude and Xinyan had planned to race against Saffron Gym drivers, but Xinyan had to attend a meeting and Wude had gone to prepare for the event.
  • Shen Qi asked Xinyan to let him compete in the regular race, and Xinyan gave him permission to borrow a Fighting Dojo vehicle.
  • At the logistics area, Shen Qi heard that Wude had spent the previous two days tuning his race car.
  • Shen Qi rejected the dojo’s three race cars and requested the D-class car Little Sheep instead.
  • Shen Qi asked the engineers to install a Skill Slot and Poké Ball Rack in Little Sheep and remove its extra seats to reduce weight.

Ch. 472Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi entered the Yo Yo Yo Wow Area race in a modified Little Sheep and used his Pokémon’s abilities and course vision to surge from seventh place into the lead. Near the end of the first lap, he was still trying to build a decisive gap before the other drivers learned the course.

  • Shen Qi finished modifying the Little Sheep with help from an engineer, Blissey, and Dodo, then hurried to the race.
  • Wude learned that Shen Qi had entered the race for the Fighting Dojo, bringing a Little Sheep despite the stronger competition.
  • Qiu Xi mocked Shen Qi’s vehicle before the race, but Shen Qi ignored him and prepared Helping Hand boosts.
  • Shen Qi launched from seventh, overtook three drivers with Pokémon assistance, and passed Wude to reach the top three.
  • Shen Qi used Global Eye and Magnet Rise to overtake the remaining drivers and take first place in the Yo Yo Yo Wow Area.
  • Shen Qi pushed to widen his lead on the first lap, but he could still see the pursuing car in his rearview mirror.

Ch. 473Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi won a Regular Race, but discovering that T2 Driver Cai Xia was the Tulip Squad member he had encountered in another world line left him uncertain whether to warn Wude. He ended the day studying footage for “The Journey Home” and asking Dodo to check on Li Ke, then showed Azumi a returnable Mega Stone.

  • Shen Qi won the race by a narrow margin and collected a prize of thirty thousand b.
  • Wude celebrated Shen Qi’s victory at the Fighting Dojo, where Nidoqueen and Nidoking smothered him with kisses.
  • Shen Qi met Qiu Xi’s mentor, Cai Xia, and hid his shock after recognizing her as a Tulip Squad member from the Normal World Line.
  • Shen Qi wondered whether Cai Xia still belonged to the Tulip Squad and whether he should tell Wude, then watched Lisia’s footage and asked Dodo to check on Li Ke.
  • Shen Qi showed Azumi a Mega Stone he had bought with a seven-day return policy.

Ch. 474Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi investigated potential leads connected to the Tulip Squad while training Lopunny in Mega Evolution coordination. Golett unexpectedly learned to sense Mega Evolution energy, and Shen Qi gained the skill and activated the Mega Evolution entry on the Final Key Stone.

  • Shen Qi reviewed the festival recordings and identified Sunshine Middle School as his next lead while learning that T2 Driver Cai Xia came from Pewter City, where several museum staff had died or disappeared under suspicious circumstances.
  • After dinner, Lopunny asked Shen Qi to continue Mega Evolution training, and he noticed Golett instinctively practicing with the Mega Stone.
  • Shen Qi sent Lopunny and Blissey to another practice room so he could train alongside Golett, who showed signs of learning Mega Evolution energy.
  • Shen Qi gained Mega Evolution Coordination at 5% proficiency, while Golett gained Mega Evolution Form at 3%, though they could not Mega Evolve successfully.
  • Shen Qi used a Skill Proficiency Card to raise his coordination proficiency to 10%, and the Final Key Stone displayed the entry “Mega Evolution.”

Ch. 475Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi trained with Golett to develop Mega Evolution, then visited Sunshine Middle School while investigating clues related to the Journey Home scenario. He left without finding the Wingull he sought, but learned that elementary students might have attended the recent matches as visitors.

  • Shen Qi used a Skill Proficiency Card to improve Golett’s Mega Evolution proficiency, but their practice remained difficult and left them exhausted.
  • Lopunny and Blissey found Shen Qi and Golett asleep together and concluded that Shen Qi preferred powerful Pokémon, prompting Lopunny to resolve to become stronger.
  • Shen Qi woke at the Fighting Dojo, prepared for the day, and learned that Wude was away at another meeting.
  • Shen Qi flew to Sunshine Middle School using the Float Stone and Dodo’s Magnet Rise, then advised students and examined the school’s Pokémon.
  • Shen Qi confirmed that Sunshine Middle School’s Wingull was not the one from the Journey Home scenario and learned from a teacher that elementary students may have attended the matches as visitors.

Ch. 476Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Wude told Shen Qi that Hoenn’s land and sea energy had become unstable and explained that the Draconids’ Successor power had been exhausted, leaving them unable to summon Rayquaza or sense meteorites. While continuing his training, Shen Qi visited Tamamo Middle School and learned Gym Leader Hinako had gone to Hoenn, raising his suspicions about the Tulip Squad.

  • Wude briefed Shen Qi on the Indigo League’s warning about Hoenn’s unstable energy and the possible return of activity from Groudon and Kyogre.
  • Wude explained that Zinnia had exhausted the Draconids’ Successor power during the earlier meteorite crisis, and Shen Qi worried about how she would handle another threat.
  • Shen Qi trained Mega Evolution with Golett and Lopunny, using a Skill Proficiency Card to improve their progress.
  • Shen Qi traveled to Vanilla Island, visited Tamamo Middle School, and learned that its elementary school students had gone on an outing to the Pewter Science Museum.
  • Shen Qi heard that Hinako had left Pewter City for Hoenn and began to suspect the trip involved the Tulip Squad.
  • Wude called Shen Qi as he boarded the bus back from Tamamo Town.

Ch. 477Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Wude warned Shen Qi that a meteorite was approaching Hoenn and told him to stay in Saffron City, but Meng Ai kidnapped him and explained that a second meteorite threatened the region. She planned to take Shen Qi and the White Jade Crystal to Rayquaza so his time-space travel ability could help it destroy both meteorites, leaving Shen Qi unable to return to the Normal World Line.

  • Wude told Shen Qi that a meteorite was approaching Hoenn and that Rayquaza was preparing to intercept it, so Shen Qi agreed to return to Saffron City.
  • Meng Ai called Shen Qi, met him near Celadon City, and had Venusaur restrain him before carrying him away with Charizard.
  • Meng Ai told Shen Qi that Zinnia's plan had gone wrong because a second meteorite was following the first and had gone undetected.
  • Meng Ai showed Shen Qi the White Jade Crystal and explained that using it to open a Spatial Rift for Rayquaza would exhaust its final use and prevent Shen Qi from returning to the Normal World Line.
  • Meng Ai said Shen Qi's time-space travel ability could reduce the energy Rayquaza lost during the journey, then knelt and begged him to cooperate.

Ch. 478Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi agreed to help Zinnia stop a meteorite from destroying the world, and Meng Ai brought him to Sky Pillar. There, as Zinnia prepared to Mega Evolve Rayquaza and Meng Ai opened a spacetime rift, Shen Qi saw that Zinnia, Meng Ai, and even Salamence were becoming transparent.

  • Shen Qi agreed to go to Sky Pillar, despite the danger, after learning Zinnia had exhausted her inherited power and might risk her life.
  • Meng Ai and Shen Qi flew toward Sky Pillar, where Rayquaza's deity aura stopped their approach until Meng Ai's Mega Charizard X broke through the barrier.
  • Shen Qi met Zinnia atop Sky Pillar and learned the meteorite could reach Rayquaza within a day or two.
  • Zinnia asked Meng Ai to open a spacetime rift so she could have Rayquaza Mega Evolve, while Meng Ai became enveloped in pink light.
  • Shen Qi saw Mega Salamence shielding the trapped wild Pokémon, and noticed that Salamence and the Pokémon behind him were transparent.

Ch. 479Pokémon Strategy and Raising

Shen Qi rode Mega Rayquaza through space as it destroyed two meteorites threatening the planet, only to discover that Jirachi had been transporting one of them to restore the planet’s energy. Jirachi angrily beat Rayquaza while it tried to justify the destruction.

  • Zinnia sent Shen Qi and Mega Rayquaza through a space-time passage, and Shen Qi activated the [Script Detector] after they emerged into space.
  • Mega Rayquaza smashed a massive meteorite into fragments, then destroyed another meteorite with a Dragon Breath.
  • Jirachi struck Rayquaza with a stone and its fists, and Rayquaza explained that it had destroyed the meteorite Jirachi was transporting to replenish the planet’s energy.
  • Rayquaza argued that the meteorite could have caused a disaster, but Jirachi continued pounding it.

Ch. 480Pokémon Strategy and Raising Chapter 480

Shen Qi returned from space only to have Team Aqua capture Rayquaza with a Chain Ball and attack Sootopolis City alongside Team Magma. After escaping a fall from the Sky Pillar and meeting Lisia in the woods, he faced the Phantom Thief Banai and fought back against his ambush.

  • Shen Qi sensed Rayquaza’s instability during their return, then watched Kaichao capture Rayquaza in a chained Master Ball containing the Green Orb.
  • Kaichao and Tabitha revealed that Team Aqua and Team Magma were attacking Sootopolis City, while Shen Qi fled and fell from the Sky Pillar.
  • Shen Qi used reserved Jet Energy to survive the fall and landed in woods near the Sky Pillar.
  • Shen Qi found Lisia, helped her evade Poison Gas, and learned that she had been ambushed while the main battle raged at the Sootopolis Temple.
  • Banai disappeared into smoke, and Shen Qi sent out Blissey to strike Banai’s Mightyena with Brick Break.
