"Thank you for your support over the past two years, Mr. Li Xin. Let me drink to you first."
After arriving at the bar, the three chose a quiet private room. Helen picked up a glass of wine and drained it.
"That's because you offer me the highest prices on all of Qiu Long Star. Naturally, your Rare Treasure Shop gets first priority."
Li Xin did not sell exclusively to Helen. A business relationship without mutual profit would never last long. Helen happened to be a smart woman, so the two had established a partnership.
"I really envy you, Helen. With a major client like Mr. Li Xin, you have a steady income. Although I'm a princess of the Black Dragon Mountain Empire, I still have to venture out and risk my life to obtain many of my resources."
Bu Luoxin looked at Li Xin resentfully, her gaze all but asking, Why don't you support me too?
Li Xin simply ignored that look. His dealings with Helen involved Star Level goods and a few Universe Level items.
Trading with Bu Luoxin, however, would involve the Black Dragon Mountain Empire. There were too many tangled interests there, and Li Xin had no desire to invite that trouble yet.
"I heard you signed up for the Universe Mercenary assessment. Is it true you're going to an unexplored world where time flows strangely? Is it very dangerous?"
Seeing that Li Xin had not responded, Helen tactfully changed the subject.
"That's right. It's a world the Universe Mercenary Alliance recently discovered in the Qianwu Universe Country, called the Time Realm. Supposedly, it has never been explored, so there's no way to assess the danger. But judging by the temporal turbulence that can appear at any moment, it's extremely dangerous."
Bu Luoxin's voice was grave.
