After finishing their trip to Forina, Lorelei and Gary decided to return to city life.
So Gary chose Mossdeep City as their next stop.
As a city of advanced aerospace technology, it was the right place to visit if you were a space enthusiast.
Mossdeep City was fairly famous as one of only two cities in the Pokémon World capable of independently launching rockets.
Perhaps influenced by Jirachi, Gary had also developed an interest in stars and outer space.
I wonder if I could see Rayquaza above the atmosphere through the Mossdeep Space Center's telescope.
Breathing out a cloud of mist in the cold, Young Master Mao rubbed his hands together and bought two cans of hot coffee from a roadside vending machine.
"Here, warm your hands." Young Master Mao picked up a can and handed it to Lorelei.
Lorelei smiled, wrapped her arms around Gary from behind, and slipped her small hands into his pockets. "No need. It's nice and warm in here."
The wind lifted their matching trench coats. On the bleak coastal road, their figures pressed close together looked a little like a scene from a Music Video, or even more like a promotional poster for At the Dolphin Bay.
"Ahem... well, am I a bit of a third wheel here...? Should I leave first?" Wearing a well-fitted suit and a scarf, the early-winter edition of Steven walked up to them with a smile.
"What a rare sight. You're actually greeting us in person instead of slacking off, Steven." Gary winked at him.
"Ahem... what's that supposed to mean? I am the Hoenn Region's Champion, after all... I'm usually very busy." Steven scratched his cheek awkwardly. "As for digging up stones, that's just a personal hobby..."
