Young Master Mao sent Monferno into its first battle against Candice’s Mamoswine, trusting it to fight without help from its powerful teachers. After taking heavy damage, Monferno awakened its Blaze and defeated Mamoswine, then collapsed into Lucario and Armarouge’s arms.
