But "Wang Dong" was faster. Of the six soul rings behind her, the third and fourth lit up simultaneously. Fine hexagonal ice crystals instantly covered her hands, resembling Huo Yuhao's Ice Empress's Pincer, but with an additional faint golden glow that radiated an aura of light.
Curling her hands into claws, she swiftly slashed them across Xiao Hongchen's body in a cross. Each finger was like a sharp blade carrying a biting chill, yet the attack inflicted no damage.
A glimmer of golden light appeared on Xiao Hongchen's body. It came from a triggered Class 6 Defensive Soul Tool called the Sturdy Barrier.
Whenever it suffered an external attack, it would automatically defend by consuming soul power.
