A small lake lay in the central area of Base 9, with a manor on the island at its center.
Inside the manor, a figure slowly rose from an enormous throne.
His mere existence made him seem like an incarnation of the Law of Light.
His invisible pressure made every flower and blade of grass on the island bow.
An Immortal God!
"A riot in the base?" Dressed in white robes, the Immortal God prepared to fly over and investigate.
"You're not going anywhere, Lunduo."
A voice rang out on the island.
"Feiluo, you actually dare show yourself before me? Do you want to die?"
The Immortal God Lunduo looked toward the voice that had appeared before him.
It belonged to a man with red hair and red eyes, with a flame-like mark between his brows.
"Oh." Lunduo seemed to understand, but his tone remained mocking. "So you've become an Origin World Lord. No wonder you're so confident. An Origin World Lord without a light affinity-you really are a genius."
"Lunduo, you're just as vile as you were before. Even after becoming a slave, you're still the same." Yet Feiluo's words carried sorrow.
"Vile? A slave? You still care about those things?" A Light Spear appeared in Lunduo's hand. "Come, let me see how much progress you've made in these five million years. Surely you don't think that just because becoming an Origin World Lord without a light affinity is harder, you can rival a light-affinity Immortal?"
"I may not be your match, but today, I'll set you free. As a slave, you seem no different from before, but what a pitiful existence that is."
More people appeared across the island, all Peak World Lords, numbering over a hundred.
"You think numbers alone can defeat an Immortal God?" Lunduo laughed.
