Three days later.
Dongguan once again arrived before that Eerie hall.
Jiamoke and Yanming had also arrived.
Over the past three days, they had each been making their own preparations and had barely seen one another.
Ever since accepting the mission, they had effectively entered "mission status" and could no longer visit places such as the Military Merit Point.
However, they did not have to set off immediately.
As captain, Dongguan had chosen to spend three days preparing and gathering information. This counted as one small "privilege" of being captain.
They only needed to complete the mission within one epoch.
"Are you both ready?" Dongguan glanced over Jiamoke and Yanming. Neither seemed to have changed.
"Ready," the two replied.
"Then let's go."
Dongguan led the way as they headed together toward the distant spatial wormhole.
That wormhole led outside the Military Camp. Naturally, they chose the one that would take them closest to the Blood Domain Mountains.
The Blood Domain Mountains were, as their name suggested, an endless succession of mountain ranges.
There was no telling how many light-years the territory of the Void True God Xuemiluo covered.
The outermost mountains were quite normal, with green peaks and clear waters. A few tribes even bordered them.
Farther inward, the rocks and even the trees grew progressively darker.
The deeper one went, the thicker the mist became, and that mist carried a faint dark-red tinge.
Numerous Blood Domain Pools lay scattered through certain valleys shrouded in mist.
Legend had it that in the deepest part of the mist lay a Blood Domain Pool like a sea of blood, and Xuemiluo, the true ruler of the Blood Domain Mountains, dwelled within it.
On the outskirts of the Blood Domain Mountains, a market stood in a valley where the mist was very thin.
