The Dim Land.
Naturally, it was a stretch of emptiness. Dongguan had seen a few landmarks within it, such as rocks, mountains, and lakes, but he still could not determine his coordinates and had only drawn a simple map.
"Not only is this Haolei Star Lord inside the Dim Land, he's actually deep within it."
By observing cause and effect, Dongguan determined Haolei Star Lord's direction and approximate distance. He could not help marveling at how cautious the other man really was.
"So the Dim Land itself moves. No wonder it's so easy to get lost."
Of course, Dongguan was not merely observing Haolei Star Lord's own cause and effect. He was also observing the outside world, and through this, roughly determining the patterns governing the Dim Land's movement.
Given enough time, even if he left the Dim Land, he might not emerge anywhere near his original entrance.
This process was actually somewhat similar to the rotation and revolution of planets and stars in the universe, though on a much larger scale and far more complex. Still, having gained insight into "Constant Change," Dongguan had confirmed that mapping the Dim Land was possible.
Unlike mapping other places, where one simply recorded wherever one passed, mapping the Dim Land involved three components: an "internal map," an "external map," and its patterns of movement.
The "external map" referred to a map of the area adjoining the Dim Land's boundary, including the Ten Thousand Waves Water Domain. Of course, this could have been accomplished in other Reincarnation Eras, though it would have taken a very long time.
In this Reincarnation Era, however, the presence of the World Beasts added some difficulties.
"Hmm?" Dongguan's gaze shifted slightly, and his entire body turned illusory, merging into space and darkness.
Whoosh!
A figure suddenly appeared.
Swish!
