Simple because it could be divided into three parts.
The manifestation of Dongguan's own consciousness structure, remnants of past consciousness "patterns," and the experiences he had recorded within it, whether his own,
or those of his avatars.
Apart from the manifestation of his own consciousness structure, everything else belonged to his accumulated reserves, the resources that fueled his progress along the special path of "comprehension."
But after so much time, these former "resources" had instead become obstacles.
How to deal with these obstacles was the reason his will had been stuck at the final step.
Simply clearing them away would not work. That would amount to denying his own past; on the level of consciousness, it would be like removing the foundations of a castle in the air, ultimately causing it to collapse.
The result would not necessarily be death, merely an inability to progress any further.
With the Tamos Bloodline driving him on, he could still progress, and could even break free of his confines, but that would instead cut off his future path to riding City Lord Luo's coattails.
So he had sorted them out.
Once he finished, his will completed its transformation from the Chaos Realm peak to God King.
But ultimately, that treated the symptoms rather than the root cause.
"But at least I discovered the problem and broke through." Dongguan was not particularly excited, but neither was he disappointed.
If he could only "treat the symptoms" without "curing the root cause," then every time his will reached another bottleneck in the future, he would have to "sort things out" again, and it would take
