The ten layers were like ten dimensions, intersecting with one another in complex fusions, particularly where the Ten Origin Laws fused into the Chaos Law.
The nine saplings took root in every layer. Their roots intersected, but they emerged from different places.
The sapling of the Time Origin Great Dao grew from the time layer; the sapling of the Great Dao of Space Origin grew from the space layer; the World Origin Great Dao grew from the layer where the Chaos Law fused; the Material Origin Great Dao grew where the Eight Great Laws other than space and time fused.
The saplings also differed in their growth. The two representing "Immeasurable Law" and "matter" grew best, while the one representing "Destruction" grew far less vigorously than the one representing "Life Law."
Vaguely, Dongguan sensed an "affinity," as though he had grown closer to the Supreme Law.
This affinity held great significance for his progress in studying the Origin Great Daos.
Moreover, he sensed it constantly nourishing his soul and will.
His will would reach the peak of God King One much faster. In a hundred eras at most, he could complete this process of accumulation.
If he also used other methods, he could accelerate it further.
Even the bottlenecks involved in reaching God King Two will, and even in advancing from God King Two to Ultimate Realm will, seemed to have weakened considerably.
