Since Blue Tyrant Academy occupied a fairly large area, it naturally could not be in the city center. Instead, it lay somewhere between the second and third rings. In the enormous Heaven Dou City, that was probably a journey of several thousand meters.
Before long, however, the carriage reached its destination. Flender and the others seemed to have only just arrived as well.
"Xiyue, you're here." Flender came forward to welcome her. Turning his head, he spotted the unfamiliar Xue Ke and could not help asking, "And this is...?"
"This is Xue Ke, princess of the Heaven Dou Empire. She wanted to come along for a look around, so I brought her with me," Leng Xiyue explained.
"Your Highness." Flender's expression grew solemn, and he offered a proper bow.
Although he already considered himself a citizen of the Jiuzhou Empire, he still had to observe the appropriate courtesies. Otherwise, it would be rather embarrassing.
"There's no need to stand on ceremony." Xue Ke smiled faintly, looking very approachable.
Xue Ke glanced over the Shrek group and soon spotted a familiar figure.
"Oh, little Ke, what brings you here?"
Within their circle in Heaven Dou City, that familiar acquaintance was, of course, Ning Rongrong. In the past, whenever she accompanied her father to the palace, she would always play with Xue Ke. Later, she became engrossed in cultivation, and they gradually drifted apart.
