Lin Yi escaped the Angel’s gaze by stretching time and retracing his consciousness, but the Night Watchman still had not returned. After ringing the Sanctuary a second time and discovering his body was cracking, Lin Yi considered fleeing until visions of the Angel’s attack appeared before him.
