The Green Chef Ride raced through the Other Passage and emerged beside Lin Yi, while the Burial Body’s voice pursued it.

• Lin Yi perceived the Green Apron Chefs making pasta from corpses in a filthy kitchen and traced the source of their ingredients to a huge mass of fused bodies hanging in the cavern.
• Lin Yi recognized Zhou Yuting among the corpses and realized the corpse mass might be the Burial Body’s enormous original body, with the Convenience Store containing only its core.
• When the corpse mass detected a living person, Lin Yi took control of a Green Apron Chef, formed a Pig Slaughtering Knife from his aura, and chopped off two corpse-roots.

As A-Gui crossed into the next Layer, a strange, burning slime began consuming it, revealing an aura of Ashes and signs that the substance was Night-Walking Species.
