Blood slowly trickled down her forehead. Fan Saihu opened her eyes to see Chen Shi'an withdrawing the Windbreaker Saber and watching her quietly.
Having escaped death, Fan Saihu looked delighted. She then cupped her hands slightly toward Chen Shi'an, turned, and leaped off the platform.
The spectators around the platform immediately broke into applause and cheers.
Xiang Li let out a long breath. "Commander Chen actually won!"
Qianshan Xue glanced sideways at him. "From your tone, were you hoping he wouldn't?"
Xiang Li shook his head repeatedly. "How could I? It's just that Fan Saihu was clearly a seasoned Second-Rank Martial Artist, while Commander Chen only recently reached the second grade. Yet he actually kept her on the defensive and defeated her in one sustained assault.
"I think Commander Chen's Origin Force is even more abundant than Fan Saihu's.
"Could the Origin Force cultivated through the Mad Flame Saber Technique really be that abundant?"
Qianshan Xue shook her head. "I know very little about this cultivation method, so I'm not sure either.

Then she turned her gaze in another direction.
Qiu Shuang sat there.
Qiu Shuang briefly met her eyes and nodded lightly.
After winning his second bout, Chen Shi'an walked slowly back to Contestant Seating.
As he passed in front of Gu Qingyao, she spoke softly. "Congratulations on another victory, Commander Chen.
