With everything ready, Zhou Quan signaled for everyone to secure their portable headsets.
"Ah Sing, you're coming with me. I'll take the left, you take the right!"
Zhou Quan opened the ward window, picked up a length of twisted rope, and wound it around his left arm.
He gave his instructions in a low voice. "The other two will handle the ropes and keep watch!"
Chow Sing Sing nodded and swiftly moved to another window, copying Zhou Quan's movements.
Of the three remaining Auxiliary Squad members, one stood guard at the ward door with his gun, while the other two gripped the opposite ends of the ropes.

Nodding slightly, Zhou Quan pressed the talk button on his portable headset.
"Ling Jing in position. Clear line of fire!"
The next instant, Ling Jing's calm, indifferent voice sounded in Zhou Quan's ear.
"Report on the targets!"
Zhou Quan asked again.
"Five people in the target room. One seated in front of the CCTV monitors. The other four are gathered near the door, playing cards."
Through his sniper scope, Ling Jing had a complete view of the situation inside Mingxin Hospital's security room.
"The man in front of the CCTV monitors must be taken out immediately."
Without any hesitation, Zhou Quan made his decision.

There was a strong possibility that the station in front of the security room's CCTV monitors had communications links to the underground mortuary and the arms depot.
Zhou Quan needed to ensure that what happened inside the security room would not leak out immediately.
