Zhang Ming thought for a moment, then added, "When the transmission distance is too great, there's still a risk of losing spatial artifacts in transit."
"But as long as I transport the spatial artifacts myself, there generally won't be any risk of loss. You understand what I mean, right? Just pay me a little."
"I see... Then we certainly have enormous room for cooperation," the Stone People said in their deep, resonant voice. "Mr. Zhang, please remember our Pandora Civilization."
"We'd like to dig a tunnel to the neighboring cluster. Approximately how much Source of the World would that take?"
Zhang Ming pondered briefly, then smiled. "A World Cluster-scale space tunnel would cost no more than ten thousand units of Source of the World. My estimate could be three to five thousand, or seven to eight thousand. It depends on the local stability of space."
That price was very tempting!
Quite a few civilizations were interested...
Of course, this investment would have to wait until the Burial Realm stabilized.
Otherwise, if the Demon God's Sea collapsed, digging transportation tunnels would be meaningless.
After half an hour of discussion, the Wanhai Civilization's spokesperson suddenly said, "Since opening a space tunnel between the Burial Realm and the Demon God's Sea takes priority over all other cooperation, our Wanhai Civilization is quite supportive of this undertaking."
"We're willing to pay one hundred thousand units of Source of the World. What do you think, friends?"
A hundred thousand from the Wanhai Civilization was no small sum. With a feasible plan and someone taking the lead, the proposal finally won majority approval.
Aside from their lingering doubts, there really was no reason not to do it.
The civilizations present were all powerful World Ring-level civilizations. Each could easily contribute a few thousand, adding up to
